Types of Peptides Synthesized
content-image
  • Our services include incorporation of unusual amino acids, unnatural, or specially derivatized amino acids into synthetic peptides. Our synthesis capability ranges up to 60 amino acids for difficult-to-synthesize peptides
  • We provide custom synthesis of peptides as Trifluoroacetic Acid (TFA), acetate, or hydrochloride salts. We have capabilities to provide custom peptides in scales from milligrams to gram scale and purities ranging from >90%; HPLC purified peptides (>95%+ purity)
  • Each synthetic peptide is delivered as a lyophilized white powder, with an analytical test report that comprises of all relevant analytical data (mass spectrometric details, reversed-phase UPLC-profiles). Additional analyses (e.g. presence of residual solvents, mainly ACN, TFA & water, stability determination) data are provided upon request

Our Expertise & Experience
  • Employing Fmoc Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPSS) based chemistry and automated microwave peptide synthesizers, we develop optimized synthetic strategies and purification protocols to provide peptide sequences of high purity to discovery programs
  • Our chemists employ UV monitoring and Kaiser test to ensure the completion of each of the coupling reactions, double coupling and heating (if required) to maximize the overall yield while minimizing impurity formation and in some cases reducing the purification efforts needed
  • We have proficiency in various kinds of cyclization, macrocyclisation and stapling techniques as well as a wide range of C- and N-terminal modifications
Custom Peptide
Synthesis Services
  • Chemveda offers custom peptide synthesis services employing various chemical techniques such as Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS), Liquid Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS), Hybrid Peptide Synthesis and peptoid synthesis
  • Scale of synthesis ranges from milligram to multi-gram scales
Peptide Synthesis Capabiities
  • Incorporation of unusual or unnatural or specially derivatized amino acids into synthetic peptides
  • While we have expertise in incorporating commercially available unnatural amino acids such as the D-amino acids, homo-amino acids, N-methyl-amino acids, α-methyl-amino acids, into designed peptide sequences, we do also synthesize unusual and unnatural amino acids and incorporate them into designed peptide sequences
  • Stable isotope labelled amino acid containing peptides

Our peptide synthesis team has expertise incorporating the modifications such as amide (-CONH2), N-alkylamide (-CONHCH3 or -CONHEt), ester (-COOMe or Et) and any other required modification.

We have hands on experience with the following kinds of cyclization of peptides

  • Head-to-Tail Cyclisation (Backbone-cyclization)
  • Side Chain-to-Side Chain Cyclisation (disulfide bridges, thioethers, etc)
  • Side Chain-to-Terminus Cyclisation
  • Disulfide bond formation between cysteine residues (Cys-Cys cyclization)
  • Ring-closing metathesis (stapling)
  • Thioether peptide (thioether cyclization)
  • Click Chemistry Cyclization (Triazole peptide)
  • Chemical Linker-based Cyclization (PEG, alkyl chains, aromatic spacers)

Some of our expertise comprises the following:

  • N-terminal acetylation
  • PEGylation
  • Lipidation (e.g., palmitoylation)
  • N-terminal reductive amination
  • N-terminal labelling

We have rich experience in incorporating the following into peptides:

  • PEG chains
  • Lipids
  • Fluorophores and biotin
  • Chelators
