Bheema has over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry and he has been involved in the discovery and development of several INDs, as well as their progression to phase III.

He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Hyderabad in Hyderabad, India, and then went on to conduct post-doctoral research as a Humboldt fellow with Prof. W. Adam at the University of Wurzburg in Wurzburg, Germany, followed by another post-doctoral research with Prof. K. C. Nicolaou at the Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, California.

In 1995, he began his career as a medicinal chemist at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. During this time, he was actively involved in the discovery of novel small molecules for the treatment of metabolic disorders, co-inventing two clinical candidates, Balaglitazone and Ragaglitazar.

He previously worked at Syrrx/Takeda from 2003 to 2010, where he oversaw an oncology project that resulted in a clinical candidate.

Bheema has over 75 patents and publications to his name, as well as first-hand experience of structure-based drug discovery and the potential use of natural products as a source of new drugs.

Prathyusha has over 20 years of industry experience in a different capacities, Teaching, Administration, Marketing, Inventory Management, Strategic Planning, Personnel Planning, Finance, and Operations Management.

She received her master's degree in Industrial Chemistry from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and has worked on a few research projects at the University of Hyderabad.

Prathyusha comes with a rich experience of working and managing corporates, project execution, and the planning and implementation of major policies. She has been actively engaged in corporate affairs, especially those requiring collaborations with academic institutions and corporate clients.

Prathyusha is the full-time director & head of operations at Chemveda Life Sciences, where she oversees finance, administration, human resources, and supply chain management. In addition to these responsibilities, she is also one of the promoters & directors of GPS Biotech India, and Aegis Agro Chemicals India.

Ravi has over 18 years of academic and industrial research experience and holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore where he was involved in the enatiospecific total synthesis of terpenioids. Prior to joining Chemveda, he was associated with GVK Biosciences for over 12 years and held a key position in managing multiple collaborations with clients based out of the US. He has many scientific publications in journals of international repute to his credit.

Ravi, has a rich experience in managing large teams involved in initiating and driving various collaborations, catering to medicinal chemistry requirements from lead optimization (SAR activity and focused libraries) to the synthesis of reference compounds and building blocks. He was also instrumental in putting together and developing high performance teams, which were successfully engaged in the synthesis of diverse classes of chemical compounds- asymmetric synthesis, alkaloids, nucleosides, organoboronates, small peptides, and wide array of heterocyclic compounds. In addition, Ravi has also supervised projects involving route scouting, route optimization and process improvement for scalability of novel molecules.

On strategy front, he played a stellar role in designing and delivering custom-made services to clients, as well as reinforcing customer relationships for improved company value proposition. Throughout his industrial career, Ravi has made major contributions to the establishment and growth of collaborations with over 20 biotech and pharma clients.

Srinivasa has over 15 years of industrial research experience and holds a very strong background in organic synthesis and catalysis with a Ph.D. and two Post-Doctoral Fellowships from Japan, and Taiwan. Prior to joining Chemveda, Srinivasa worked with Piramal Pharma Solutions as the Director, Process R&D for their CRAMS, Intermediates & Generics division. In addition, he has previously held leadership positions at companies like AstraZeneca, and Jubilant Chemsys. Also, Srinivasa has numerous scientific publications in prestigious international journals to his name.

Srinivasa's core expertise includes Process R&D, QbD, DoE, Crystallization, Polymorphism, and accommodating processes in GMP scale-up manufacturing, with hands-on experience in ReactIR-4000 and the use of PAT tools such as FBRM, Raman, UV-Vis, and others.

As his core expertise, Srinivasa has made significant contributions to the areas of Process R&D, QbD, DoE, crystallization, polymorphism, and accommodating processes in GMP scale-up manufacturing with a hands-on experience in ReactIR-4000, and the use of PAT tools like FBRM, Raman, UV-Vis, etc. In addition to his core expertise, Srinivasa also has a command of QMS, Analytical Method Development and Validation and, Genotoxic impurities (PGIs) assessment.

Sampath has over 18 years of academic and industrial research experience and he received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Hyderabad, where he was involved in the synthetic and mechanistic studies of chiral amino alcohol derivatives and their applications in organic synthesis. After his Ph.D. he worked for over two years in the area of peptidomimetics as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Mississippi, USA.

He has been associated with Chemveda right from its inception and actively participated in the initial design of laboratory and analytical infrastructure, and systems and processes. He had been associated with companies like Sai Advantium, and Sapala Organics prior to joining Chemveda. Over his tenure at Chemveda, he has played a crucial role in managing and growing multiple collaborations and turning them into key clients for the company. Sampath has some key scientific publications and patents arising out of the collaborations at Chemveda under his name.

Sampath has a profound experience of managing teams with diverse chemistry expertise and projects ranging from lab-scale synthesis, route scouting and optimization, to kilo scale deliveries of NCEs, and building blocks. In addition to heterocycles, Sampath also has experience in chiral chemistry, nucleosides and nucleotides, organoboranes, phosphonates, carbohydrate chemistry, and peptides.
