Scale-up capabilities
  • The discovery chemistry team has capabilities to scale up to larger amounts (mg to hundreds of grams) for target molecules, building blocks and intermediates
  • For large scale needs (kilo to multi-kilogram) the discovery team will work closely with our scale-up and process development teams to ensure the efficient transfer of working knowledge between the teams in a short time period thus minimizing time and cost
Synthetic Chemistry Core Capabilities and Equipment

We have a strong track record of conducting a diverse array of chemistry projects encompassing the synthesis of complex heterocyclic compounds, natural products, peptides, nucleosides and nucleotides on scales ranging from milligram to kilogram quantities. Many of these syntheses involve multi-step synthetic routes, demonstrating our capability in handling complex and challenging chemistries.

We have strong expertise in focused library design and production to support rapid SAR development. LC-MS data will be provided for all library compounds and 1H-NMR data for representative/selected compounds. The building blocks utilized may be natural product based, sourced commercially, or synthesized in-house. For in-house synthesized building blocks, comprehensive characterization data is provided.

We have rich experience in the synthesis of stable isotope-labelled compounds. Isotopes we have worked with include Carbon-13 (13C), Nitrogen-15 (15N), and Deuterium (2H). Analytical techniques such as LC-MS, 2D-NMR are employed to elucidate the structure of compounds and to provide a certificate of analysis wherever required.

We have a well-established track record in employing visible-light photoredox catalysis to perform complex chemical transformations.
